Angela Agurs Social Worker of the Month for June 2025

CONGRATULATIONS Angela Agurs!  It is our pleasure to recognize Angela Agurs, Case Manager with Family Preservation at York County DSS!  Thank you, Angela, for outstanding service to children and families!

One coworker had this to say, “I haven’t been with DSS long, but Angela has been amazing. She is always so kind to me and is always available to help me if I have any questions. Recently, I assisted Angela with dropping off a toddler bed along with wipes, diapers, and other items that they so desperately needed and the clients were so ecstatic! They raved and raved about how wonderful Angela is and how much she has helped them since being their new caseworker.”

She went on to say, “In my experience, time and time again, Angela has gone above and beyond and has a heart of gold and you can really tell she cares. Anyone can do the job, but it takes a special kind of person to touch the lives of people.”

Thank you, Angela, for touching the lives of so many and making a positive impact on families in their darkest times.  It is our privilege to recognize you as Social Worker of the Month!
