Tonya Robinson Social Worker of the Month for January 2026

It is especially heartfelt when we have not one, not two, but THREE families nominating someone for Social Worker of the Month and that is the case with Ms. Tonya Robinson. CONGRATULATIONS Tonya Robinson!  It is our pleasure to recognize Tonya Robinson, with Jasper County DSS as Social Worker of the Month!

Tonya has been described as demonstrating unwavering dedication to her noble profession. It is said that her love for children and genuine concern for the families is truly inspiring! One foster parent told us that Ms. Robinson’s exceptional guidance and navigation assistance from the time of placement and through fostering journey was instrumental in the positive outcome for the child. Words such as “tireless, remarkable, compassionate, supportive and heaven sent,” were words her families used when submitting their nominations.

Another family stated they would be forever grateful for the lengths Tonya went on behalf of their relative child. Yet, another family said she puts her “heart and soul” into her work and they now consider her to be a part of their family.

Tonya, it is our honor and a privilege to recognize you as Social Worker of the Month!
