These are just a few words that have been used to describe Ikia Talbert. “Ikia takes the time to listen to the children, youth and families she works with and to hear what they are communicating,” said one person. It is said that she works hard to help maintain long-term community connections between children, youth and safe family connections and knows the importance of re-evaluating relationships after there has been time for healing. Ikia is always thinking about permanency options and does the hard work necessary to find the best placement for long term success.
