Amanda Healy
January 2019

CONGRATULATIONS Amanda! It is our pleasure to recognize Amanda Healy, with Lexington County DSS. Thank you, Amanda, for outstanding service to children and families!

Amanda Healy has been a standout from the beginning. Families say that she always does a great job with the children she serves. They like her and they trust her.

When asked what made her decide to go into social work, Amanda responded, “I want to be an advocate for children who have been victims of maltreatment. I want to be able to help families get back on their feed and learn how to provide a safe, stable environment for their children to return home.” Amanda has never regretted her decision as she says she really enjoys working closely with the families and children she serves.

Congratulations, Amanda! It is our privilege to honor you as Caseworker of the Month!
