Tamara Phillips
November 2019

CONGRATULATIONS Tamara! It is our pleasure to recognize Tamara Phillips, with Anderson DSS. Thank you, Tamara, for outstanding service to children and families!

“Tamara has been with the agency for 25 years and has been an exemplary caseworker who has made a tremendous impact on the children and families she serves. She is an amazing advocate for these children and makes sure they don’t get lost in the system.”

“She has worked with one client for over 10 years and just successfully transitioned him at age 21 into a transitional living facility. She never gave up on this child even when he was incarcerated for almost two years at age 18, religiously going to visit him each month even when she did not have to do so. Upon his release from jail when he was living in a homeless shelter, Tamara continued to visit with him each month until he was allowed to return to foster care after his court hearing was completed. She worked very hard with his attorney to get his charges reduced to time served and being placed on probation. This child is now employed and successfully aged out of care at age 21. It is an honor and privilege for me to be working with Tamara!”

Congratulations, Tamara! It is our privilege to honor you as Caseworker of the Month!
