Deborah Hunter
January 2016

CONGRATULATIONS DEBORAH! It is our pleasure to recognize Deborah Hunter, CPS Investigator and Family Preservation worker for Fairfield County. Thank you, Deborah, for outstanding service to children and families!

A few words from the person who nominated Ms. Hunter after receiving a copy of the letter in the photo, “As an agency, we continue to struggle with engaging fathers in case planning for their children and this is an area where much improvement is needed. I was very impressed to see this letter and learn that Deborah is making an active effort to not only engage but also to coach and encourage fathers. This letter also tells me that she is engaging this father in a way that is honoring to him as a valued family member which is perfectly aligned with our Signs of Safety practice model. I believe her work is a shining example of “doing the right work, the right way” with fathers, and for this reason she is deserving to be honored as case worker of the month.”
