Social Worker of the Month

SCFPA wants to recognize workers who are making a difference in the lives of children. Each worker selected will receive a $100 gift card and a Certificate of Recognition.

LaNiaya Nesbitt July 2023

CONGRATULATIONS LaNiaya!  It is our pleasure to recognize LaNiaya Nesbitt with Cherokee DSS as Social Worker of the Month. Thank you, LaNiaya, for outstanding service to children and families!

One family told us, “LaNiaya has been a ray of sunshine for our family through our foster journey. She has always gone above and beyond to make sure everything we need is available in a timely manner and her first priority is what is best for the children even when it is not the most convenient of circumstances. She does not cut corners.”

We always appreciate those who work diligently to ensure every step is taken to ensure safety and well-being for the children we all serve.  The family went on to say, “It is apparent that she loves her job and the children in her care. We love and appreciate LaNiaya and think of her as family.”

LaNiaya, we are definitely glad you are a part of the South Carolina child welfare family!  Thank you for going through the hard things on behalf of the children you serve!
