Social Worker of the Month

SCFPA wants to recognize workers who are making a difference in the lives of children. Each worker selected will receive a $100 gift card and a Certificate of Recognition.

Grenisha Beatty-Elmore November 2023

CONGRATULATIONS Grenisha!  It is our pleasure to recognize Grenisha Beatty-Elmore, Foster Care Supervisor, for Spartanburg DSS as Social Worker of the Month.

We have been told that Grenisha goes beyond and above for her county, unit, and agency, and that her diligent efforts to collaborate with her cohorts and team, shows dedication and courage.

Grenisha entered the agency as a Foster Care case manager in 2019. Her commitment to align the well-being of her children on her caseload, establishing a permanency plan was evident from the very beginning. Grenisha has now taken the role of a Foster Care Supervisor and it is said that she implements those similar skills and techniques to her unit and program area for success. One colleague said, “Grenisha is a go getter and a driven hands-on leader in our community.”

Grenisha, thank you for your continual commitment to the best interest and well-being of the children and families you serve! Our children need someone who will never give up on them so we appreciate you!
