SCFPA wants to recognize workers who are making a difference in the lives of children. Each worker selected will receive a $100 gift card and a Certificate of Recognition.

Erika Buchanan
September 2015

CONGRATULATIONS ERIKA! It is our pleasure to recognize Erika Buchanan, Caseworker for Charleston County IFCCS. Thank you, Erika, for outstanding service to children and families!

“Erika started in November 2014. She has become certified and has taken a caseload immediately. This month Erika has juggled numerous placement disruptions and acute hospitalizations while successfully reunifying a sibling group of 4 with their parents. Erika works hard to ensure that all of her clients receive services that meet their needs while also helping out her co-workers when she can. Erika is eager to learn new information and applies her skills and knowledge to her work. Erika also has served as the on call worker after hours. She manages to sort through the emergencies and provide afterhours service to our families.”
