A program of the South Carolina Foster Parent Association. It was designed to recognize students within resource families who have identified and are pursuing goals that will ensure a successful transition into adulthood.

Meet Jasmine Shuler! She attends the Historical South Carolina State University in Orangeburg as a freshman majoring in Psychology. Jasmine hopes to include a minor in Social Work as she works to obtain her undergraduate degree.

Jasmine loves to read, stay to herself and enjoys meditating. As a Freshman, she has already become involved with the NAACP and the Campus Activities Board (CAB). With a 4.4 GPA her first semester of college, Jasmine earned the Bronze Medal Award, and has put forth tremendous effort to earn the Gold Medal Award for her second semester.
