Hi, my name is Katie Foster, I am from Spartanburg SC and I and eighteen years young. I lived at Connie Maxwell Children’s Home for a little over five years. Connie Maxwell is where I decided to give my life fully to the Lord. I now attend North Greenville University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. At North Greenville University I am a member of Joyful Sound. Joyful Sound is a singing group that travels around the southeast leading the body of Christ in worship. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and spending time with those closest to me. My past accomplishments consist of being an overcomer and breaking the cycle in my family. I will be the first in my family to earn a college degree and for that, I am very thankful. Thank you to the Foster Parent Association for continued support during my journey.
