Benita Floyd
August 2017

CONGRATULATIONS Benita! It is our pleasure to recognize Benita Floyd, with Greenville County DSS. Thank you, Benita, for outstanding service to children and families!

“Benita Floyd has been a caseworker with DSS for 3 years. She’s been a Social Worker for close to 35 years. Benita feels that she was called to work with children and is dedicated and honored to serve the children of SC. She treats all of her children as she would her own and loves what she does. Benita’s been helping people since she was a child and cannot think of anything else she would like doing better.  Benita has a lot of awards, but doesn’t get into bragging about them. But most personally, Benita was my first case worker and went above and beyond for her child who was in my care and never, ever made me feel as if I were bothering her or she didn’t have time for me. I only wish every case worker were like Benita!!”
