CONGRATULATIONS Kaci! It is our pleasure to recognize Kaci Wingate, with Region IV. Thank you, Kaci, for outstanding service to children and families!
Kaci Wingate is Supervisor of the entire Region IV office and has had to juggle child placements, license renewals, ICPC and initial licensing. In addition, she is never too busy to focus on recruitment and retention of foster homes – often, going to events and speaking to groups in the evenings or on weekends. She is also never too busy to give her attention to family members or employees who are experiencing difficulties in their own life situations. Region IV has had fewer homes close than any other region during the last year as Kaci and the Family Support Unit make supporting foster families a top priority. In addition, under Kaci’s leadership, Region IV excels in placement of sibling groups and placement of children under twelve in foster homes. Region IV has had fewer licensed homes close than any other Region over the last year. Way to go, Kaci!
