Day’Shia Allen
August 2021

CONGRATULATIONS Day’Shia!  It is our pleasure to recognize Day’Shia Allen, with Kershaw County DSS.  Thank you, Day’Shia, for your outstanding service to children and families!

Day’Shia Allen is not only a hard worker and very organized; she truly dedicates her life to helping children in care and their families step-by-step as they move forward to once again become a family. This can be a confusing process, but Day’Shia makes sure she is available to answer questions and help guide children and families to the next step.

In addition, Day’Shia is always watching out to be sure she serves the well-being of each child on her caseload and meets his or her specific needs, whatever those may be.  It is important to Day’Shia that her children don’t feel out of place during their time in care, so she takes however much time with them as needed to ensure they know someone is looking out for them.

Thanks, Day’Shia! We are fortunate to have you working with our children!
